DREAM Dachshund Rescue is dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for Dachshunds in the Atlanta, North Georgia, and Savannah areas. DREAM Dachshund Rescue is operated by volunteers and is only supported by donations. They focus not only on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dachshunds, but also on educating the public about responsible dog ownership and this fascinating, joyful breed.
DREAM Dachshund Rescue is comprised of caring dog lovers who put the welfare of their Dachshund charges first. Due to low overhead, at least 90% of DREAM Dachshund Rescue’s donated funds go to medical care for Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes. DREAM Dachshund Rescue also firmly believes in setting a positive example for dog owners, and they take special care to offer educational resources that reflect this philosophy.
DREAM Dachshund Rescue does not have a shelter—they operate out of the loving foster homes provided by their volunteers. DREAM Dachshund Rescue is diligent in their mission to find responsible, loving pet owners so that every dog has a wonderful home for life.
