Paws Whiskers & Wags | Review on Kudzu | Amazing

After a bad experience at another facility I found these wonderful people. I can't say enough about how great they are. I walked in one day without an appointment to inquire about the services & was met by Lisa, who understood the loss I was about to have & the state of mind I was in. She spent time with me, gave me a tour & within a few minutes I knew I was in the right place. She even had suggestions on food to feed my sick dog. The cremation day was filled with kind gentle people who understand the human animal bond. You can be present for as much or as little of the cremation as you want. Nigel greeted me with a smile & kind words & I knew I could trust him with my dog. Lisa remembered me immediately & they were ready for my appointment without any confusion or hesitation. Jill brought me my baby in her urn with respect, gentleness & took time to sit with me & talk. I thought the tasteful bag was a great way to take my baby home, and kept her locket of fur and my pet loss support items, etc. all together in one place. They did not charge me extra for same day service, and I felt at home waiting for the procedure to be done in their lovely waiting room. Bless Christine for founding this facility and the values this crematory has. Bless the staff for what they do everyday. It is such a comfort to know where I will be going with my future pets - it is an important detail in the grief process to know my pets will be taken care of with the respect they deserve. Thank you.

"Everyone I spoke to was so kind and understanding even though I was a basket case."

This is a very difficult review to write. Paws, Whiskers and Wags offers a service you hope you never need but alas, a service you really do need. I said goodbye to Trudy on Monday night and she was ready to come home Wednesday afternoon. Everyone I spoke to was so kind and understanding even though I was a basket case. It was much easier to pick up her here than at the crazy busy vet's office. It was quiet with no distractions and I didn't feel rushed at all. Jill was patient and had her sweet Golden there who was more than happy to be petted. For a grieving dog person, having someone warm and furry with a wet nose right there is really helpful. I didn't even look at what kinds of urns they offer because I plan to get something handmade and unique. They offered to transfer her once I find the right thing, so that is definitely helpful. I can't imagine doing that myself. As far as pricing, I don't know. What do YOU think this type of service should cost? They were upfront with the charges, so that was good but it didn't matter what it cost. My dogs are my family and will be treated as such to the end. My only complaint is that I did not like having the container with my girl's remains and her paw print packaged up in a gift-like bag but I honestly don't know what would be a better solution. When I had my other girl cremated, she came home in a box that had been shipped UPS; needless to say, that was terrible.

I know that it brought me comfort when our sweet Molly pups passed that we were able to bring her to a place that understood how much we loved and cared for her, and understood how much pain we were in. I can't say that I hope to use your service soon, but I am grateful that Paws, Whiskers and Wags will be there for us in our time of need.

I am thankful I went here. It broke my heart to lose my beloved cat. Paws Whiskers and Wags was wonderful. The staff was incredibly sensitive and helpful. They were able to handle everything while we waited. The waiting room was private and cheerfully decorated, not depressing and over the top. I am so grateful to them and the good service they provided.

The hardest thing to live through is the loss of your best friend. A part of you knows that one day you will have to say goodbye. It has happened to me a number of times and it never gets easy. One thing that eases the pain is knowing that those who care for your pet at the end of their lives do so with as much love as you hold in your heart. Paws, Whiskers, and Wags are those those people. Their care and concern for my beloved made all the difference in the world. There are not enough words of praise.
