Paws Whiskers & Wags Review on Yelp!

My precious cat died a week ago. It's been a tough, surreal loss, and Paws, Whiskers and Wags has made the process so much easier. From their kindess and consideration to being affordable and efficient, I am so glad we went with them.

They let us drop off my beautiful pet at GVS overnight, with no charge, and they picked her up the next morning to be cremated. They put her remains in a beautiful container, and kept us aware of the process as it was happening. They also returned her to GVS because it was more convenient for us.

For a small fee, they made a plaster paw print with her name in a leather-bound photo album. It's very comforting. That being said, they did NOT try once to sell anything. Even when we asked about urns, they told us we could look at the website and see if we wanted something and get back to us, but there was no pressure at all.

I wouldn't have known what to do without this place. From start to finish they were professional but kind, and they are very reasonably priced. We got handwritten cards in the mail from them when all was said and done. They seeme

d genuinely compassionate and extremely understanding of this tough time. I am so glad my beautiful Mocha was at their hands; I wouldn't have trusted anyone else.

Hopefully it will be a LONG time before I ever have to use them again, but I do know where to go now.

Yelp Review | The Discretion, Care and Respect Impressed Me | Paws Whiskers & Wags

I've never used this place but saw the car at the vet's office today. The woman walked in with a nice basket that had a blanket inside, and quietly asked for a pet by name. The discretion, care and respect impressed me, especially since the pet's owners weren't present-- if this is how they act when no one's watching, they'll one (sad) day have me as a customer.

Yelp Review | Grateful | Paws Whiskers & Wags

We are so grateful to have had such a peaceful experience at Paws, Whiskers & Wags. We lost our little baby Sawyer this past Sunday. We made the decision to keep his ashes and were referred to PW&W by a close friend. We asked if Sawyer's sister could come in and be able to sniff him so that she could understand that he was not coming back and this way she would not wait on him (a vet suggested we should try this). Lisa said it was no problem at all. She put him in a little coffin with a nice little blanket covering his body. We were able to take our time, did not feel rushed, and were very well accommodating while we waited for the service to be performed. Losing our little man was (and is) so painful...but we are so thankful for Lisa. She was so caring, sincere, loving and understanding. I couldn't imagine having gone anywhere else. We felt that they loved Sawyer as much as we did and they cared for his body with such respect and dignity. All we can say is THANK YOU.

After a bad experience at another facility I found these wonderful people. I can't say enough about how great they are. I walked in one day without an appointment to inquire about the services & was met by Lisa, who understood the loss I was about to have & the state of mind I was in. She spent time with me, gave me a tour & within a few minutes I knew I was in the right place. She even had suggestions on food to feed my sick dog. The cremation day was filled with kind gentle people who understand the human animal bond. You can be present for as much or as little of the cremation as you want. Nigel greeted me with a smile & kind words & I knew I could trust him with my dog. Lisa remembered me immediately & they were ready for my appointment without any confusion or hesitation. Jill brought me my baby in her urn with respect, gentleness & took time to sit with me & talk. I thought the tasteful bag was a great way to take my baby home, and kept her locket of fur and my pet loss support items, etc. all together in one place. They did not charge me extra for same day service, and I felt at home waiting for the procedure to be done in their lovely waiting room. Bless Christine for founding this facility and the values this crematory has. Bless the staff for what they do everyday. It is such a comfort to know where I will be going with my future pets - it is an important detail in the grief process to know my pets will be taken care of with the respect they deserve. Thank you.
